The Yellow House That Could

When we first set foot in what was to be our family home, it had this incredible, warm feeling about it, and trust me it had nothing to do with the cedar windows, terracotta tiled floors or yellow exterior! It had 'great bones' - the perfect layout for a growing young family, a large, albeit sloping backyard for a future pool and loads of natural light. We were lucky enough to purchase this home and over the course of 2 - 3 years, we madly and enthusiastically renovated it to be our dream home.

It was during this process that I found a passion I didn't know I had for Interior Design and Home Renovations, fast forward to a professional course in Interiors later, coupled with our renovation experience and Perrie Designs was born.

We've since sold our dream home, with a lot of learnings and a passion for finding the next project to sink our teeth into. For now, enjoy the transformation photos!
